Important Information
  • A perfectly flat concrete base is paramount to a successful installation. The base must be 80mm bigger than the composite garden room.
  • For optimal use of the garden room, especially during winter, we recommend enhancing its insulation with the added insulation add-on and utilizing a vapor barrier or by installing an AC/heater unit. This proactive approach will effectively avoid potential condensation issues.
Added insulation
An added extra that will insulate your garden room even further!

What is included?
  • Timber battens
  • All required fixings
  • Stixall
  • White PVC Wall panels (choose between matt or gloss)
  • Rockwool insulation
How to install the added insulation:
  1. Once you have installed the garden room as standard, you can fix the wooden battens to the walls. Start from the back wall or side walls and finish with the front wall. Cut to size and fix the first batten just above the floor panel between the posts using the provided S9 screws. Then, install the next battens 55cm apart from each other. The top batten will be at the top edge. Make sure the posts and the battens are flush. IMPORTANT: Composite material is softer than wood. Do not over screw the screws.

  3. Repeat the same process for all walls.
  4. added insulation
  5. Once all wooden battens are installed, add the Rockwool insulation between the battens. You may use tape to hold it in place if required. Tip: We recommend applying some silicone between the wall panels and the ceiling before adding Rockwool insulation for better sealing.

  7. Wall panel installation. Apply some silicone on the wooden batten in the corner. Cut to size and install the first panels. Start from the back wall or side wall and finish with the front wall. If you are installing the panels from the left side, make sure that the groove of the panel is on the right side (see picture in step 5). When installing the wall cladding on the side walls, remember to cut the panels on the slope for a perfect fit.

  9. To secure the panel, screw the edge to the batten using the provided S10 screws as shown in the picture.

  11. Attach the next panel and secure it with the provided S10 screws as shown in the previous step. Continue with wall cladding installation. When you reach the other corner, use some silicone to secure the panel in place. Repeat the same process for the remaining walls.

  13. Attach the next panel and secure it with the provided S10 screws as shown in the previous step. Continue with wall cladding installation. When you reach the other corner, use some silicone to secure the panel in place. Repeat the same process for the remaining walls.
